Long day planned with really no time to go get breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Less than ideal? You betcha. But it’s fine.
Single serving tuna packs packed in water (allowed in carry-ons) and they sell them at Walmart in four or six packs. Each pack has 18 g protein, o.5 g fat, 1 g carb and they taste good.
I’m not going to even pretend the Luna protein bars are paleo. I tried to cut them out of my diet and felt deprived and went off the rails. Chocolate and cherry – reminds me of bing candy bars growing up. Could be worse – each one has 12 g protein, 6 g fat, and 21 g carbs. Not sure why I’m able to eat just one of these bars and not want more or start craving carbs the rest of the day, but I don’t.
The chocolate hazelnut butter – well – not an everyday food – but perfect for a long day on the road. 4 g protein, 15 g fat, and 12 g carbs (3 of those being fiber).
Perfect? Nope. Works though.
